Very beautiful looking set up. As a rule L numbers arent really suited to a Malawi set up due to big difference in water parameters. However many people in the UK keep Ancistrus and Cochliodon species in there set ups. If you decide on a pleco it should be one of the more robust species like the ones mentioned.
I have a malawi set up at home mixed wild & f1 mbuna, I have a F0 Synodontis Nyassae x 1, F0 Synodontis Petricola x 4 (these love grazing on the rock algae), F0 Synodontis Caudalis. I've also got the Tangyanikan sucker mouth catfish Chiloglanis.
